A deity-inspired, holistic self-care brand which utilizes fruit as its main ingredient for wellbeing female products.
Pomona Holistic Self-Care introduces the female audience into a better lifestyle and well-being through an engaging and holistic experience with fruit by communicating its benefits, its integration into daily life, as well as providing fruit-based products for their everyday wellness. The project encompasses Logo, Packaging and App Designs.
The Concept
Inspired by the ancient Roman goddess of fruit trees and gardens, Pomona, a fruit-based, holistic self-care brand for young women reveals to them the yearned secrets of the benefits of fruits and their practical usage in daily life. The goddess would introduce them to a simpler, organic and caring self-care lifestyle where they can experience, as if they were in a glorious, peaceful and harmonious paradise, the healthy benefits of Pomona’s bountiful fruit produce. Different categories of products ranging from body to mental health are showcased, all of them being formulated with a specific fruit.
The Treatment
The design itself focused on the collaging of Baroque-styled imagery as well as illustrations and ornamental typefaces to showcase the whimsical, organic and elegant qualities of the brand. Natural environments and botanicals accentuate the idea of customers being present in an Eve's Garden. The dark Eggplant color was chosen due to its very refined, rich and royal hue qualities, enabling customers to feel special and dignified while shopping. Amber glass is considered as the main material for the liquid products such as oils, soaps and serums, not only due to its sturdiness and elegance, but also because of its sustainable qualities and recycling/reusing capabilities.
