A brochure design that announces the comeback of one of the world's greatest music and art festivals.

A Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival brochure designed for its 2021 comeback which conveys a message of fun, energy and carefree style. Coachella was canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, being the brochure a new and exciting way for attendees to anticipate and enjoy the event as well as bring back to life its musical, artistic and colorful experience.

The Concept

Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has been known for the massive audiences that attend, as well as its artistic flair and open-air exhibitions. The brochure was inspired by the energetic experience, the vibrant sunset color gradients, blue skies, green grass and iconic structures. The Festival is also well known for its Bohemian Chic visuals and Fashion, hence the typeface used is very textural and brush-styled. Different paint strokes and splotches add to the movement and enjoyment of the Festival. Duo tone colors and image cut-outs were added to emphasize on the importance of artistic collaboration and diversity.

The Treatment

The brochure was designed utilizing different softwares such as Adobe Illustrator, In Design and Photoshop. The usage of black and white images contributed to the colors being accentuated, as well as the graphic elements such as paint strokes. The brochure design contains information of the event itself and the scheduled concerts which would be held at its different venues. Besides the scheduling, activities and camping options offered would enable the audience to prepare and make the most out of the event.
